Nude with Sand

Image
Nude with Sand
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford IB4.1P photographic paper, image size 24.5cm X 19.5cm, from a Kodak Tmax 400 8x10 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
I think this effect is what the photo-scholar Walter Glover lightheartedly calls the crumbed cutlet look.

An interesting concept and beautifully executed as usual, Maris. I chuckle at the WG-style description... whether serious or in jest, Walter's comments always provoke thought.

Too much youth to consider this a cutlet — more likely tender young veal. Now, where's that Russian salad to accompany this fine schnitzel?
