Nude, Above Lion Rock
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford MG IV photographic paper, image size 24.3cm X 18.9cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

The tree's limbs go this way and that to support its troubled growth at the top of a sea cliff. And my adventurous model holds on securely, this way and that, to avoid an un-picturesque tumble. A worthy strategy for both.

Alas, this contact print has lost its black verification border. The sea horizon was tilted and I ruefully cropped it straight-ish.

Alex Gard's Nude at Miena, Tasmanian highlands inspired me to search and find this one in my files.

When I looked at this I immediately saw the brightness of the horizon at the top of the picture, after reading the notation about your cropping requirement, I realised just how attuned I am to seeing your images with a film outline.

I think the model has blended well into the tree limbs with her semaphore pose making the letter "L" for limb (?) being the perfect look.

Nice one Maris.
