Great framing and great light Geoff. That building can be a bit of an abomination if the elements aren't all presented right.

Thanks Walter, the light was just right that morning!

Here's one from Carrington, Newcastle.

Morning or afternoon, Geoff?

There is a lovely quality to the light and your gradation in the high values is quite luscious.

I am determined to get out today and shoot. I was to have gone on a road trip with a mate but the money for overtime proved more powerful for him.

Thanks Walter. The petrol station was in the afternoon, the council building was early.

I do like a road trip. This trip to Newcastle I left around 6.00am and returned late. So much to see and such great light I didn't stop for lunch until it was getting dark.

It is important documentation that areas such as this be recorded in order to reflect the changes that happen over time, in addition to being fine pics.

Hey Geoff,

I took a run up to Newcastle on Saturday and, irrespective of how strongly they beckoned, I left these scenes of your alone.

I would have liked to see your interpretation!

Here's another I've just scanned.
