Nelson and Liffey Falls, Tasmania

Prompted by Lachlan's forthcoming trip to Tassie, I thought I'd dig out a couple of scans I had done after a trip there in 2002. These are a couple of the many waterfalls I photographed there, unfortunately in a dry year. Sad to say Lachlan, the year is probably drier at the moment. I wish you good hunting. All of the falls I visited were on the beaten track and unfortunately I didn't get off that track when we were in the west.

All done with Tachihara 4x5 on FP4+

Nelson Falls, complete.

Thanks, Barry!

If I can shoot anything that ends up looking like these, I'll be very, very happy!

I particularly like the Liffey Falls shot. A dreamy, days-of-yore image. Well shot!

Those are some gorgeous images of a very popular photographed area. Much better than the standard over-saturated images I've ever seen. I particularly like the third one.

Sincere thanks for the kind words. I don't think my work deserves such praise. I have another Tassie waterfall drying at the moment. I'll post it tomorrow.
