Very nice super wide angle picture, something that is reasonably hard to execute in a manner that one doesn't see distortion, nor excessive fall-off in the corners.

Having a 65mm for 4x5" and now understanding it a bit, I have an idea of how hard you've worked to get this.

Mick.

Thanks Mick. Tilting the camera up or down causes vertical convergence or divergence. So I set the camera dead level. Unfortunately the horizon then goes through the exact middle of the picture, usually a bad bad, but I figured with all the visual clutter from the branches no one would notice. The real anxiety was getting shadow detail on the tree trunk right next to the hot sun-slick on the river. Ain't modern film and coated lenses marvellous to let this happen.

That's a real corker in my book, Maris. I find the tonality nothing shot of exquisite.

The shadow detail you've managed to achieve here is ridiculous.
