What an evocative old streetscape. Number 489 looks like a residence above a shop which is still inhabited; see the parcel propping up the front door. The "Building for Sale" theory is probably correct because the latest Google Street View shows another structure in its place. And the terrace to the right has lost its sleep-out and gained a couple of hedges. Thanks Walter for prompting this journey into time.
