Rock Shelf, Laguna Bay

Image
Rock Shelf, Laguna Bay
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 16.3cmX21.5cm, from a 4x5 Kodak Tri-X negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

The big and heavy 300m f5.6 Fuji stressed the front standard of the lightweight Tachi but nothing broke. I needed the longer focal length to strengthen this very minor visual pun.

Oh Maris,

Is there still such a thing as a 'minor pun' after the sketches on "Mad As Hell" parodying Daily Telegraph strap line writers?

There is something very special about the 300mm irrespective of format. Everything seems to click-in and really sing; especially Scheimpflug, as here.
