Maris the rock pools are intersting especialy the way the water seems to curl at the edges, love the tones.

yep, thats super nice! Seeing through to the bottom of the pool is spinning me out a bit, my eyes see it as 2D, then 3S, then back again.
I think you really nailed the exposure here, Maris. Did you use a polariser?

Thanks Bazz8 and John Power. No polariser. The lucky thing was the cloudy bright overcast light that eliminated shadows and let the grey rock and clear water impose their own qualities on the scene. A dark cliff face is reflected in the back "lobe" of the pool. High tide puts the pool in the wave-break zone so the number and shapes of the rocks it digests changes from day to day.
