Horizontal Forms, Sedge Filed.

Horizontal Forms, Sedge Field.
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 21.5cm X 16.3cm, from a Kodak 4X5 T-Max 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a Voightlander Anastigmat Skopar 1:4.5 F = 13.5cm lens from the 1920s.

The sedge field is actually a perched lake just off Parkedge Road in Noosa but few push through the dense scrub to get to it. Water fills it about one year in ten. The fallen log with no visible support is a ready made visual pun too good to pass up..

Maris, quite a striking horizontal form especially with that great colour change from the background, it really does stand out.

I suppose that perched lake becomes a parched lake, when it dries out?
