Rock Pool, Tea Tree Bay, Afternoon
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic MCC 111 VC FB photographic paper, image size 16.5cm X 21.3cm, from a Tmax 100 4x5 negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF double extension field view camera fitted with a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm f8 lens.

The old 90mm f8 Super Angulon is only single coated and nearly "flared out", but not quite. Thank goodness large format photography comes with lens shades ready to hand; dark slides that is.

And well used! I can imagine the mess flare would have made. Nice composition Maris.

Thanks Barry Kirsten for your nice comment about composition. Some subjects suggest obvious and elegant compositions but not this scatter of random rocks in a stagnant rock pool. I spent a good half hour nudging the camera around in small and large increments trying to balance forms and edges. Oh well, it sort of worked.
