Charlotte Pass Snow Gum, InfraredGelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 16.3cm X 21.5cm, from a 4x5 Efke IR820 negative
exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm f8 lens and a IR680 filter.

Maris, Charlotte Pass has never looked so inviting; very nice.
Straight print, or did you hold some of the shadow areas a bit?
Creamy smoothish foliage on the tree tops, combined with that luscious grass, just lifts this way above an ordinary IR image.

Thanks for your insights Mick.
The lighting for this one was high bright overcast so the usual blue sky going to black in infrared didn't happen.
Nice even light made for an easy-to-work negative that printed straight except for the lower left corner and edge. That area was pretty blank so a
slight burn subdued it to keep eye appeal in the middle and top of the picture.
Efke IR820 never had good halation control so the light tones tend to go soft and fuzzy; nice when not excessive.
