Lily Pond with Log.

Postby Maris » 26 Jan 2013, 15:14

Image
Lily Pond with Log
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford MG IV VC RC photographic paper, image size 24.6cm X 19.5cm, from a Kodak Tmax 400 8x10 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
Signed, titled, and stamped verso.

The horizontal format of computer monitors is ill suited to pictures made in portrait orientation. I press F11 on my keyboard to see this image in its entirety. Maybe this works for you too.

Signed titled and stamped verso

Why do you write that on every photo
It's irrelevant to the image?

He's simply documenting his process. It's fine.

I suppose after all the other information
Regarding film and paper use etc
It's sounds extraneous. Especially on a forum dedicated to film.
I would expect that in an archival catalogue such detail would be normal

Do I have nothing better to do in my life than to write comments on such matters.

I suppose I would prefer to know about weather conditions and other changing factors, given the internets propensity for hyperbole, and my need to filter relevance.

Things should be as simple as possible but not simpler. - Einstein.

I think I got the quote right.

Any way it's not for me to impose philosophy or process.
I do enjoy your images.
