Contact Print

Postby RoganJosh » 01 Apr 2013, 12:38

Here's a lil 4x5 contact print I made for my mum's b'day. It was taken in Teviot state forest (possibly the nicest place in SE QLD?..) with a 135mm fujinon. Used a green filter in front of the lamp to lower the contrast a bit.

Looks a nice image from here, your mum will love it.
Only in QLD could they call somewhere with no other trees for 200m a forest...
Also how does a green filter lower contrast, my low contrast filters are pinkly/orange?

I googled the ilford contrast control manual and it stated that I should use green for low contrast and blue for high contrast. It wasn't wrong as I did a test of both filters and there was a significant difference.
