Shearing Shed, Central Victoria

For some reason, this is appearing a lot darker than it should.

Ah, well; just turn up the brightness on your screen if it helps! It was a dark, foreboding and WINDY late afternoon…

7x17", 355mm G Claron, 1/8th@f64 (unfiltered), HP5+ dev in Tetenal Ultrafin (8 min).

Might get this printed on clear and do a larger contact print...

Great sky, Lachlan! And I do like a good shed! Love the texture and light on those trees on the right. I wonder if there's something you can do with the shed to bring that out a bit more?

It seems to drop "character" on this forum for some reason. The original is so much better than the .jpg as it appears here.

I looked at the original .jpeg on my Dad's iPad (non-Retina!!) and it also looked fine, so not sure what's going on…

I'm pretty sure that the colour management in web browsers is more or less non-existant. I found something here about it:

Probably goes some way to explain. But I know what you mean, I've posted a few images on various forums where I've thought "hang on, it didn't look like that".
