I visited Newcastle a couple of weeks ago, I really don't know the place as well as I should. I found many interesting things including the ocean baths.

The recently late and eternally great Geoffrey Smart could have painted a scene like this...but he didn't. But Geoff Roberts sure didn't miss it. Superbly seen! Is it too gauche to ask the technical details and the story behind the picture?

Thanks Maris, I am a fan of Smart. I used 4x5 FP4, processed in Adonal. The lens was my 110mm Schneider Super Symmar XL. These are great baths, and seem to be popular with the Newcastle locals, young and old.
