Wasn't it pleasant when design elements took precedence over economic rationalism.

Some guys get all the luck. Look at those electric wires nailing down the otherwise empty sky in the top right hand corner...perfect composition. On second thoughts maybe it isn't luck after all.

Thanks Maris,

Indeed there were many fortuitous elements that more or less 'happened' into the scene to make for a pleasing assemblage for me. Not least of which, the light industrial building with the zig-zag roof line that echoes the geometry of the 'spire'.
