Well, I'm officially a darkroom printer. A laughable one, but a darkroom printer nonetheless. So many of my negatives are unusable due to scratches and dust spots which were never a problem before when printing digitally.

Anyway, here's one that was usable. Sorry for the angle, was trying to minimise glare.

Crikey, that's about as good as it gets. Just look at the big black crosses and how the shapes run close to one another but do not overlap. And the one on the left with the double flare spot is extra strong. Usually a flare spot is a fault but here it acts like the dot on an exclamation mark turning a simple sign into an emphasis. The really low viewpoint means you might have been doing a "belly in the dirt" shot; some dedication.

I had to invert the entire tripod shaft so it hung from the tri-leg assembly. It was the first time that I've had to do that and hopefully it will be the last. It was time consuming to say the least.

The camera was in such a position that I didn't even bother rechecking the gg once I had stopped down. I just threw on f64 and hoped for the best. The sun flare went totally unnoticed until development.

At least if the camera was upside down, the image in the ground glass would be up the right way
