This I like! Firstly because it's really well seen and composed and secondly because it illustrates a pet theory of mine.
To make a large area of white look even whiter include some black "keys", small areas of black maybe 2 or 3 percent of the picture area. And the process also works in reverse: black looks blacker if there are a few spots of white about.

Thank you Maris,
I have a passion, especially in monochrome photography, for the delicacy of 'white on white' and also for 'black on black'. I concur with your view that a small reference to the other end of the tonal range helps anchor the tonality as purposeful rather than failure or error.
