Tank, Again.

Crikey, Walter you have a good memory for pictures. That bent tank reduced to an abstract form was on LFPA nearly four years ago. I seek out old tanks, corrugated iron, weathered architecture, old machinery as metaphors for the corrosive powers of time. And conveniently this subject matter does not run away at the sight of a camera.

Heres the photograph I made before Distorted Tank, Ravenswood:

Abandoned Water Tank, Ravenswood
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa MCC 111 FB VC, image size 19.4cm X 24.4cm, from a 4x5 Tmax 100 negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF camera fitted with a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm f8 lens.

I thought I'd finished with this subject but had to walk back to it and get closer to crop out the environmental clues in favour of pure abstraction. Successful? Not sure.
