is that the Wooli River on the North Coast of NSW, Maris?

Pristine — not a skerrick of petro-chemical flotsam in sight.

Now that is quite striking, really draws you in. Firstly for the subject, secondly for the technical execution.

Very nice Maris.

Mick.

Thanks Walter Glover and Mick Fagan. it's the Wooli River near Minnie Water in northern NSW. Modern (politically correct?) usage has it as the Wooli Wooli River.
Photographing outdoors with a heavy-metal 8x10 studio monorail camera like the Plaubel Profia is a pleasure. All the camera movements are precise, smooth, and stable and image quality is pretty well guaranteed. But lugging the darn thing, and the hefty tripod to hold it up, is a chore. Since the camera does not go in a backpack I was reduced to carrying it by hand via the monorail and grounding it upside down on the four standard support posts when I needed a rest.
