Autumn, Lake Jindabyne, Infrared

Image
Autumn, Lake Jindabyne, Infrared
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.4cm X 19.6 cm, from a 8x10 Efke IR820 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with the rear half of a Nikkor-W 210mm lens delivering a focal length of approximately 700mm and capped by a IR720 filter.

Another mad infrared! Here in Queensland there are very few deciduous trees so when I go south and see hundreds of them the impulse to expose film gets out of hand.

A stunning image, Maris! I love IR film; it challenges our sense of reality but has its own reality which grabs our attention, as in your image here. Bravo!

Aaah Maris.

Revelling in the opportunities presented! The prime motivation of the inquisitive lens pointer?
