winter In Goulburn

Denuded poplars in winter unveil St Saviours Cathedral misted by morning light and as much differential focus as is possible with an t/9 maximum aperture.

Not much chance of differential focus at f9 but it doesn't matter. The scene is cold and bright, a bit like opening a freezer door and seeing, mirabilis, a landscape beyond it.

Goodness gracious Maris, that post of yours was the number of the beast. Did you notice? And WOW!! this #1,0001 from me.
On reflection, now that I've had the chance to get used to it, I feel that with the high key tonality any further blur might render the structure a little too obscure.
