Rock Pool self portrait

Postby mark.darragh » 20 Feb 2021, 15:41

Walter inspired me to dust of a shot from a few years ago. At the time I got the film back from the lab I was rather disappointed to see just how much of a shadow the camera and tripod leg cast because the cloud was so heavy I didn't notice it by eye. I'm going to embrace the silhouette now

Why worry, it's all part of the moment preserved. In a way it is quite bizarre, especially when trawling back through a life's work as I am doing now that I have nothing much else to do and all day every day to do it, that we were present at every click of the shutter but our presence. is so seldom recorded.
