Talk about repetition of forms! The giant triangles of the bridge and crane unify a busy busy picture. And it's a good use of large format film where the rivers of detail hold together instead of fading into grain and blur.

Maris,
The resolution of $x5 film, carefully exposed and processed created something of a conundrum in this scene. Down in the guts of the workshop there was a diesel generator that belched out a burst of fumes from its vertical exhaust so, decisions, decisions ..... do I get rid of the puff of carbon up between the crane jib and the left bridge tower? I have found similar with traffic starting off from traffic lights.
