The "Red Barn" In Context ( and B&W)

Postby Walter Glover » 15 Apr 2021, 01:47

Back in late February I posted a scan of an 8x10 E-6 Scan when the windows were 'curtained' by yellowing newsprint.

Later on, the curtains gone and demolition fast approaching, I reshot a contextual rendering on 5x4 from out in the middle of what was once the Hume Highway section of National Highway 1.

A poignant scene. The red barn is well back from the road and scarcely obtrusive. Why would anyone demolish a perfectly good red barn?
