Paperbark Stump, Sedge Field
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 19.3cm X 24.7cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

A concatenation of irregular forms - or is it just optimistic imagination?

Mission accomplished, Maris. I've never. had dogs, or even had close contact with them, but the crouching old battle weary hound in touch with the playful, springing puppy within could transform, without much effort, into a mirror of my gaze.

Maris, the balance of the bright log, showing how far gone it is, but retaining separation of the background trees and darker foliage is so fine! Those back trees have an infra-red look! Fantastic!

The brightness of the main subject almost appears to be reflected by the stand of trees at the rear, combined with the flat looking sedges in-between, you've certainly achieved your concatenation.

Quite eye catching.

Mick.
