You set yourself quite a Scheimpflug chore in this gem Maris,

The "Corrugated" feature and the stair bannister would seem to be divergent. almost at a right angle. While the content elements of the photograph is in part at least more modern, there iss something in the vision that whispers, 'Paul Strand'.

I watched a doco last night on Stieglitz which featured a fair bit of Strang's work... I was absolutely blown away by it and have been finding and ordering books of his online today.

I'll also agree whole heartedly (with the caveat that I've only just discovered him) that this has whispers of Strang. Its a real delight... well done Maris!

If you think Iron, Panel, Shadow is a wildly asymmetrical, quirky, indulgent arrangement of forms take a look at John Power's Small Stumps of 26 Sept 2021. It's even more asymmetrical and wilder. And it offers more strange shapes to look at.
