Faux Rustic

Galston, N.S.W. —
Agricultural shed in a municipal themed reserve.
"Do you want me to reattach the conduit,, boss? It'll only take a minute."
"Naah. It's fine as it is. It adds to the pioneering look of the joint."
"How so? It's PVC for crying out loud!"
"Don't waste our time worrying about nonsense like that. Next thing you'll be wanting to change smooth treated timber and the Colorbond."

Good timing (again) Walter. The light skimming the slabs gives them an attractive silvery sheen. And the slight skewness of the slabs plays well with the unbending linearity of the corrugated.
There can't be too many slab huts left given the ravages of fire and termites. Is this one at Fagan Park?

Thanks. I'm fairly sure that's the name of the place, Maris,

I went there several times for the relative convenience and the quirkiness to document of an attempt at preserving an interpretation of bygone outer-suburban lifestyle and purpose was prior to imminent encroachment the urban sprawl, proper.

There was nothing better than 8x10 for my purpose for the inherent resolution that could immortalise the tactile qualities of surfaces like the slab timbers. Nothing remains hidden in the gaze of 8x10..
