More Dormant Choo-Choo Trains

Protected behind lock and key, saved from folk taking up residence or mistaking then for a canvas on an easel, here are some playmates for John's decomposing 'Kings Of The Road:
I know every engineer on every train
All of the children and all of their names
    Every handout in every town
Every lock that ain't locked when no one's around

The Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway (OTHR) is a volunteer association aiming to bring one of the region’s most picturesque and heritage rail lines back into operation.
The Oberon railway line is a 24-kilometre disused branch railway, which junctions with the Main Western line at Tarana and heads in a southerly direction to the town of Oberon. Opened on 3 October 1923, the line was lightly constructed, and included steep grades (1 in 25 or 4 %) and tight curves. It was operated by lightweight locomotives. Passenger services ceased in 1971, and freight services in 1979, with the line effectively closing then.
