An Icon

Hopefully, somewhere amongst the yett-to-be explored trappings of being removed from my former residence in absentia is my mother's invitation to the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge which makes it an evem more emotive symbol to my home town.

Excellent city lights Walter, beaut reflections in the water, but the bridge seen in very "steep perspective" (ultra wide angle lens?) is backed by one of the best sky wedges ever. From hot orange in the lower right corner to black in the upper left and every nuance of colour and tone in between.

Seen like this no one would call the bridge a coat hanger ... or would they?

Thanks Maris,

Every time I open the wardrobe door this is exactly the viewpoint I have of a rack of coat hangers. LOL
