Construction view from Morphett Street bridge Adelaide

Lugged the 8x10 from the torrens weir carpark
went to meter and the exposure was so long
24 min I thought at the time here goes nothing.
yet it worked out. 2015 when taken

I've seen it written that there is no incorrect exposure for a "city at night" scene. The shortest exposure captures only a constellation of direct light sources. The longest exposure still leaves patches of black shadow. Both might be interesting or not.
Bazz8, as John Power remarks your exposure is a perfect balance between extremes but how did you arrive at it. Magic light meter?

I looked back at my exposure record 12/3/2015 9:46pm
I use the BTZS System ExpoDev
Incedent metering
x-ray film Fuji HRT
low ev 0.0
high ev 1.0
EFS 48
exposure 7min 48 sec

the second was 24 minutes
looking at the neg It printed better than I thought it would

The first record was 11/2/2013 on the BTZS APP
I owe any accolades to Steve Nicholls who is not as active
in Printing as he once was, several strokes and poor balance now.
He still sees my work and comments in an appropriate fashion.
To this day I have several of his Test print which Kill my efforts
but he would show me how step by step.
I lost all records when a computer died they were off a Palm Pilot.
You had to have a double degree to use those thing's.
