Lang Lang Station Points Lever

The trains have long gone from Lang Lang, as have General Motors Holdens from GM's test track. Nonetheless, I was visiting the area and decided to have lunch and chanced upon the now disused station, really only the platform; which the points lever is on, and the two sets of tracks adjacent to the platform.

Good one Mick. Another icon of its time but a long past time. Unlike your Pillar of Power from April which is a signpost to the future. Putting the ratchet wheel against the dark bush makes it stand out dramatically. Your Fujinon f6.3 250mm lens is sure getting a useful workout.

Thanks Maris. I hadn't thought of the Pillar of Power being the future and this being the past, but you are right, it is such.

Yes the 250 is getting a workout whenever I wish to isolate things slightly, it is really quite good at that. I would have liked to have a 300, but there is a practical limit to bellows extension with the Shen Hao.

Advertised possible bellows draw is one thing, hanging a heavy(ish) lens off the front end while extracting every millimetre of extension with ever increasing loss of sturdiness, is not my thing. That said, it is quite a sturdy camera, and should, I think; see me out.
