Beached Boat, Lake CootharabaGelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.7cm X 19.3cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
The back of the camera was strongly tilted to set the Scheimpflug plane from the bow of the boat all the way to the distant horizon. The tilt also stretched the image of the boat into a sleeker more elongated form.
This in humble appreciation of the sustainers of this site.

Yes, I'll open by saying:
Thank you Alistair.
Thank you Oscar.
Thank you Steve.
I like this, it seems that the cloudy day has been kind to you, although your endeavours certainly took advantage of everything possible.
The hull is very well the centre of attention, and also the lightest part. Seconded by the breaking wave foam; nice.
A level horizon in the far, far distance, is the icing on the cake, while the tree foliage is the cherry on top of the cake.
Nice one Maris.
