The repetition of hard ceramic forms reminds me of Paul Strand's ultra-famous "Abstraction, Bowls, Connecticut" that appeared in Stieglitz's Camera Work in 1917. And Strand too didn't hold focus over the whole thing. And it didn't matter a hoot!
