The lens for this picture has a signature like a magnifying glass or standard achromat; sharp centre but with the outer parts of the picture area lost in blur. Did I guess right? The simple composition with strong shapes transcends what the lens is doing. Nice!

Exactly right Maris.

A $2 75mm diameter magnifying glass from a reject type shop. Measured roughly at about 190mm focal length.

This was one of my first efforts when I knew little about lenses and had never heard of Petzvals etc.
