Driftwood patterns.

Postby RoganJosh » 22 May 2013, 13:35

I recently printed a 4x5 neg at 140cm x 85cm for a buyer. Here is the finished product.

Looks good, a darkroom print or electronic? which then opens the question what enlarger or scanner.

Is anyone still printing this big with an enlarger? It was drum scanned and is very sharp at nose distance. Makes me wonder how big 4x5" could really go...

Love it. What did you use to print it?

Printed with a big epson using the standard k3 inks. Box mounted with a 3mm gloss laminate over the front. I was impressed at how clean and simple the finished product was and I think I will be printing all my work this way from now on.

Who/where did you get this drum scanned?

I started a thread on the old Aussie LF page about this, but it got lost (at least to me) in the transition to this page, so I'm still looking!

Thanks in advance.

Scanned by Martin at Brisbane Digital Images. Best in Briz.
