The Vanbar newsletter that came a couple of days ago had the following item:

Strange Neighbour is a new contemporary art space based in Fitzroy, Australia. It incorporates a gallery, and a photo studio for hire, and they're working on building a darkroom, which people will be able to hire and use to develop and print their Black and White photographs. Strange Neighbour gallery has a unique program of curated exhibitions, artist inspired film screenings, talks and happenings. The curatorial focus is multi-disciplinary and encompasses cross-generational artists. Exhibitions are by invitation with expressions of interest from curators and artists always welcomed.
The current, debut exhibition Creep Show explores the strange and yet strangely familiar. The works engage in part reality, part fantasy, where recognizable childhood motifs are combined with surreal horror aesthetics.
Artists include Polixeni Papapetrou, Pip Ryan, Heather B Swann, Tony Woods.

Anybody know any more?
