I'm looking for 3 or 4 5x7 holders for a camera I'm building. Wooden ones OK, as long as they work. Genuine 5x7 thanks, not the European 'equivalent'. Also looking for a late model 80mm 5.6 El Nikkor enlarging lens as I want to re do some of my 6x6 negs. Why El Nikkor? Because my other enlarging lenses are El Nikkor and I want to keep the same quality standard. Thanks.

Hi Barry,

Can I suggest that I always found about a 105mm EL-Nikkor to be best for 6x6. Gave greater room for dodging & burning and more even coverage of theneg and the illumination. Just sayin'.

G'day Walter, great to hear from you, and I hope you're back to full strength. I've tried to contact you previously, without success. Yes, I agree about using a longer lens, but for me at the moment it's a matter of economics. I have the 135 El Nikkor I got from you, which is great for 6x9s which I have a lot of, but too long for 6x6 I feel, hence my thought about an 80 which I've previously had. I must admit that I was nearly persuaded to get a 105 but I think I'd feel guilty about having too many lenses of close focal length. But that's me! Hope all is well with you and look forward to keeping in touch.
