FOR SALE: 4X5 Film Holders

This is a factory numbered set of film holders with sides designated 1 to 60.
I believe this was a special order by Fred Picker for his Zone VI Studios catalogue.

Opinions differ but some say this version of Fidelity Elite holders was the best ever made.
These holders have the wire slide locks which are simple and never fail, not the lock buttons which are good only when they work.
Dark slides are the matte finish ones, not the brittle shiny ones that are reputedly prone to cracking or chipping.
Light traps and dark slides all operate smoothly; no jamming, no sticking.
My bright (!) LED torch can't get any photons through any of the light traps.
Hinge tapes are good; no cracking, no fraying.

In the real world no film holders are perfectly dust free but these look clean clean.
They went back into their individual plastic bags after they had their picture taken.
Data panels are pretty clean with only the faintest marks from previous annotations.

How many holders does anyone need? I reckon enough to load out a full box of film in one go. Thirteen holders for a box of 25 sheets,
25 holders for a box of 50. And you get an empty box to put exposed sheets into if you are not developing them straight away.

I'm offering them for a friend who wants to see them used and maybe gain a few dollars.
Say AUD 15 each and something for the postman or postwoman.

Or, 50 holders for a box of 100 Ilford FP4 or HP5!

Nice lot there, if only these were available around 30 years ago when I was looking for some more film holders. And yes, those film holders, of which I have some, are very nice to use.

I'm thinking.......
