FS: Cambo 8x10 monorail

Postby Alastair Moore » 09 May 2013, 08:47

I'm not giving up 8x10 but I'm looking for a smaller, more portable 8x10 camera so thought I'd start with moving on my Cambo. I'm sure you all probably know all there is to know about this so if you're thinking of 8x10 then this might help you get started!

Comes with two rails (long and short - not sure of the exact lengths of both) and a 8x10 -> 4x5 adapter and a few other Cambo accessories.

Will attach photos shortly!

Looking for $600 for it.

What are the "few other Cambo accessories Alastair?" I have one of these and I'm wanting to add to it.

Hi Gary,

I've got a second, heavier duty tripod mounting bracket (for want of a better description) and a couple of Cambo lens boards as well. I think that's mostly it!

G'day Gary,

Great to see you here.

I know a bloke with an older Cambo kit with all many of bits and pieces if you don't find what you are after from Alastair.

As an afterthought: Did you know that Gandolfi used to source their backs from Cambo?

Hi Walter, all I have is a Schneider 210 Symmar lens + standard bellows + long rail and a few 8x10 sheet film holders. It's minimal so I am looking for bits and pieces--extra lens boards, short rail, sheet film holders etc.

Hi Alastair,
Is that second, heavier duty tripod mounting bracket (for want of a better description) a double bracket one or a heavier single bracket one as in the photo? I would be interested in the couple of Cambo lens boards.
