Hi Walter,
Your post has inspired me to give DDX a go over the next couple of weeks I'll be trying this with FP4. HP5 and Tri X
I'm particularly interested in whether I can get even development in the Jobo CPP2 as well as tonality and acceptable acutance.

Have you tried DDX with Foma LF film?

No Foma experience at all.

I will add that I use DDX diluted 1+6 rather than 1+4. Particularly with constant agitation is allows a bit more time control .

FP4+ DDX Jobo

SBR E.I. 24º

7 100 5:10

600ml 90ml
300ml 45ml

In BTZS parlance a SBR of 7 is the equivalent of N in the Zone System.

I hope this helps.

Hi Walter,
Thanks for the info.
Out of interest how many 4x5 negs would you develop with 45 ml of DD-X stock?
