That certainly looks wet and cold, conditions one expects when on Mt Buffalo.

Nice enclosed landscape, looks like the inflorescences were waving in the wind.

8x10 at it's best. This is a subject that needs resolution and tonal coherence of the smallest details to reward the eye and that's exactly what it got: just perfect.
Could it be Lake Catani?

Spot on Maris.

Parts of the lake had a good covering of ice when we arrive but a day of rain and strong wind rather than snow quickly ended any hope of photographing any ice patterns. The camera and I were on snow for this photo but it had all melted out around the water leaving the flattened swathes in contrast to the reeds.

This is the pair of the black and white, a sheet of Ektar which I shot first while the evening sun was still lighting the background. I'm not entirely happy with the colour conversion, I think the grass in foreground in should be a little cooler to contrast with the warmth of the reflection so it's still very much a work in progress.
