Photo Booth, Customer Line-up

Image
Photo Booth, Customer Line-up
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford MG IV photographic paper, image size 16.3cm X 21.5cm,
from a 4x5 Kodak Tri-X negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a Voigtlander 21cm f4.5 lens.

Focus is a bit off because I focussed on the van while there were no people around. With the film holder in the camera and the dark slide pulled I clicked the shutter while looking the other way. No one was confronted by an overbearing photographer trying to steal souls.

An action packed photo, especially with the fella wearing sunnies is turned towards the camera, while everyone else is facing away and making him the centre of everything.

For a blind exposure, you timed it perfectly.

I'm wondering whether the pictures people are getting are wet prints, or via a printer. I ask as the picture pinned to the top right of the caravan appears to be an A4 sized print. The caravan window (Camec) edge to edge is 620mm wide, give or take. I know this as I've just measured one of our identical Camec windows.

I know there is a B&W Ilford RC paper that is A4 sized, I use it myself, but somehow...........

That Voightländer (Heliar?) appears to have worked brilliantly for you.
